Malcolm Jackson to join TPG as Managing Director
TPG expands financial institutions experience in Australia
FORT WORTH, Texas & SAN FRANCISCO, April 12, 2018 — TPG, a leading global alternative asset firm, announced today that it has appointed Malcolm Jackson as Managing Director. Jackson will be based in Melbourne and will report into Joel Thickins, Head of Australia and New Zealand.

Jackson currently works as a Managing Director at Blackstone in Singapore, a position he's held since 2014.

Prior to joining Blackstone, Jackson was a Managing Director in the RBS Special Opportunities Fund based in London, where he was heavily involved in the establishment of Shawbrook Bank and Arrow Global Group plc. Malcolm attended Otago University where he received degrees in Law and Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant and was admitted as a Barrister.
